Trouble Solve Methods

E1: The trouble of indoor unit room temperature sensor.

E2: The trouble of unit pipe temperature sensor. indoor

E3: The trouble of PG motor

E5: The trouble of bad communication of indoor unit and outdoor unit.

E6: The EEPRO of indoor unit error

1E: The trouble of outdoor unit pipe temperature sensor

3E: The trouble of exhaust sensor

4E: The EEPRO of indoor unit error

8E: The trouble of PFC.

Troubleshooting

Operation of air conditioner: Fan speed setting is not allowed in AUTO or DRY mode

Explanation: The speed of the indoor fan is set to low in DRY mode. Fan speed of 3 steps is selected automatically in AUTO mode

Operation of air conditioner: Compressor stops operation intermittently in DRY mode

Explanation: Compressor operation is automatically controlled in DRY mode depending on the room temperature and humidity

Operation of air conditioner: Compressor of the outdoor unit is operating although it is turned off in HEAT mode

Explanation: When the unit is turned off while de-ice is activated, the compressor continues operation for up to 10 minutes (maximum) until the deice is completed

Operation of air conditioner: Timer indicator lamp lights up and the air conditioner does not operate

Explanation: Timer is being activated and the unit is in ready mode. The unit operates normally if the timer operation is cancelled

Operation of air conditioner: The compressor and indoor fan stop intermittently in HEAT mode

Explanation: The compressor and indoor fan stop intermittently if room temperature exceeds a setting temperature in order to protect the compressor from overheated air in HEAT mode

Operation of air conditioner: Indoor fan and outdoor fan stop intermittently in HEAT mode

Explanation: The compressor operates in a reverse cycle to remove exterior ice in HEAT mode, and indoor fan and outdoor fan do not operate intermittently for within 20% of the total heat operation

Operation of air conditioner: The compressor stops intermittently in COOL mode or DRY mode, and fan speed of the indoor unit decreases

Explanation: The compressor stops intermittently or the fan speed of the indoor unit decreases to prevent inside/outside air frozen depending on the inside/outside air temperature.

Midea VRF Error Codes

R410A All DC Inverter V4 Plus R Series 50/60Hz Error Codes: V4 VRF:  Advanced 3-pipe technology enables  heat recovery  between indoor units for unprecedented economy and performance. It can simultaneously operate in cooling and heating mode when it is necessary to provide more freedom for operation. It compensates and adjusts when there are hot and cold rooms in the same building, depending on the direction of sunshine. As a result, it reduces annual power consumption. Midea VRF Error Codes Error Codes Problem E0 Communication error between outdoor units. Only display on the faulty slave unit, all the ODUs are in standby. E1 Phase sequence error. Display on the faulty unit, all the ODUs are in standby. E2 Communication error between indoors and the master unit. Only display on the master unit, all the ODUs are in standby. LG VRF Error Codes – Multi V

Error Codes; Indicate different types of unit failures, assist in self-diagnosis and to track the frequency of occurrence. Error codes are shown on the LED of indoor units, wired remote controller, the outdoor unit control board, and on the main screen of the LG Monitoring View (LGMV) Diagnostic Software. If two or more errors occur simultaneously, the lower error code number is displayed first. After error is resolved, the error code does not display. Error Display; The first, second, and third number on the LED indicates error number; the fourth number on LED indicates outdoor unit number. Examples: 211 = Error No. 21 on master unit, 213 = Error No. 21 on slave2 unit, Error No. 105 on master unit on compressor 1. Error Code Nomenclature Definitions; MICOM: Non-volatile memory chip where unit setup information is stored. EPROM: Non-volatile memory chip where device identification, size, and factory defined default component operating parameters are stored.   LG Multi V Erro...
