 When air conditioner status is abnormal, temperature indicator on indoor unit will blink to display corresponding error code. Please refer to below list for identification of error code.

Troubleshooting

Symptom: Unit does not work.

Cause:

  1. Power cut.
  2. The plug has been plugged improperly.
  3. The full-tank indicator is ON. Tank is full.

Solution:

  1. Wait for power to be supplied again.
  2. Plug in again.
  3. Remove the drain water from the drain tank.

Symptom: Unit suddenly stops during in operation.

Cause:

  1. The indoor temperature has reached the set temperature level.
  2. The preset time is up.
  3. The full-tank indicator is ON. Tank is full.

Solution:

  1. Reset the temperature level.
  2. Reset the timer.
  3. Remove the drain water from the drain tank.

Symptom: Unit runs intermittently.

Cause:

  1. Malfunction.
  2. Surrounding temperature is too high or too low.
  3. Exhaust duct hose is blocked.

Solution:

  1. Contact your dealer.
  2. Check the duct hose.

Symptom: Unit functions but the room is not cooled.

Cause:

  1. Window or door is left open in the room.
  2. There is heat source in the room or too many of people in it.
  3. Air intake grille is clogged.
  4. Filter is too dirty.
  5. Temperature setting is too high.

Solution:

  1. Close all windows and door.
  2. Move out any heat source in the room.
  3. Clean the air intake grille.
  4. Replace the filter.
  5. Lower the temperature setting.

Symptom: Condensed water is spilled out when moving the unit.

Cause: The tank is nearly full.

Solution: Remove the drain plug on the rear bottom of the unit, drain off the water then the unit will be in operation automatically.

Before Calling For Service

The followings are not defects.

A hissing noise or hollow sound ⇒ This sound is generated from the refrigerant flowing within pipes.

A squeaking noise ⇒ This noise is generated from the unit when it is expands or contracts with temperature changes.

Odor ⇒ Such odor as tobacco, cosmetics, or foods may accumulate in the unit.

The unit does not start nor change operation mode immediately ⇒ To prevent overloading the compressor motor, the unit will be stopped for more than 3 minutes.
